I shot X-terminator in my ppc all last year with HBN coated Ultras.
Roughly around 400 rds down the tube without cleaning besides a single dry patch occassionally.
I use my guns for egg shoots. Usually 80rds per day with no time to clean.
Never like to start the day with a clean barrel either.
Found 133 could'nt run naked pills that long without fouling out. Thats why you guys clean so much
I go out of my way to find a powder that creates IMO the perfect bore condition. Not accumulating carbon or copper. When I finally cleaned it it came right out.
Switched to X-term and HBN at the same time so I can't say what really did the trick.
Shot the same load all spring, summer and fall. When it gets below freezing X-Term just gives up. Maybe a hotter primer than F 205 would help. Never tried as my 8208XBR showed up. That stuff seems to work just fine below 32 degrees.
Just my limited expierience.
Jackie Glad to hear the new 8208 is still working well for you.
