Precision Shooting Magazine ??

What???

One example would be Kevin Thomas 's article about moly coating. He knew very little about the subject and put forward a lot of untruths.
According to whom? You? I guess that Sierra Bullet's Kevin Thomas disagreed with your opinion.....therefore he is wrong! Is this the case or do you have some data to back up your assertions? I have a couple of questions for you? 1) Do you shoot competitively? 2)What technical experience or training do you have that allows you to say that Mr. Thomas' results were untrue? Inquiring minds need to know. James Mock

Then why did I cancel my subscription?
No one is bashing anything a guy asked a question an I answered with , THE TRUTH as I have experienced .
" The overall quality of the writers has gone down in recent times.
So some of the technical articles are less than accurate I feel. "
I feel ! I feel ! Ifeel ! .
That mean IN MY OPINION.
If you feel that PS is great fine I am happy for you.

What I described in my post is common among the entire publishing industry, not just P.S. magazine. Where do you see a defence of any magazine in my post? I'm merely writing what is common through out the entire industry.

Most of the magazine publishing industry is on the skids. The main reason is the Inter-net, this has been going on now for years. On-line magazines have really cut into magazines profits. End of the anniversary year published in every magazines (by Law) sales from subscriptions counter sales, reflect the truth about my statement.

I was not going to re-new when Calfee announced his departure from PS, I just got the renewal notice in the mail a couple days ago. I'm having second thoughts, been some okay rimfire articles lately. What to do, what to do? It's only a few bucks, I read them and then put in the range shack, they don't last in there more than a couple hours, someone takes them when they're free. Thanks, Douglas

Mr. Mock,
I subscribed to Precision Shooting several years ago and let my subscription lapse. In my opinion, the magazine started becoming too specialized and limited to a select crowd. Not everyone has the desire, time, money, or vigor to shoot competitively; some of us just like to shoot as accurately as possible for fun. Now that's entirely my opinion and how I spend my money is my decision. I've heard the same comments from other, non competitive, shooters who no longer subscribe to the magazine. If Precision Shooting is happy with their current membership levels and people still feel it is a magazine worthy of purchase, that is entirely their decision.

I don't have to interview with you Mr Mock . You just go on believing what ever you like. You have not got an enquiring mind. You have a worshipers mind. Remember you asked for an example and you got it.
