A bunch of us got taken to school today at Piedmont.....

Samuel Hall,(yes, the same Samuel Hall that won the Nationals) won every first place piece of wood today in both classes, and set four (4) IBS records in the process.

Congratulations, Sam on some of the finest shooting I have ever witnessed. I am glad we are friends. It is an honor for me.

Good shooting Sam. Wish I could have been there. And to Larry Wheeler congrats to you for the second place finishes on your very first benchrest outting that is awesome.

Sam's having one of those years you can only dream about. Congrats on the records.
I sure hope you wear those barrels out soon and give the rest of us a break.

Larry Wheeler really gave us a run for our money yesterday. Every relay I stopped and looked at his (great) targets. Someone said he was a new shooter. I thought the first target was beginners luck, but he kept it up all day! Hope he will be a regular to the sport now! He seems like a fine fellow.
As far as those barrels, I got up a daylight this morning just to pull them off. Luckly, I have two more 6BR barrels off of my reamer that headspaced perfect that Leonard Baity had made for other rifles. I am praying they will shot as good as the ones I pulled off! That is wishful thinking isn't it!

I agree with Terry that you better dust off a spot for the
"Shooter of the year" trophy. If my math skills still serve me correctly, it looks like your knocking on the Century mark for SOY points.

I was good to finally meet you and the rest of the fine shooters at the nationals.

First I want to say congratulations Sam.
I am also curious what records were broken and how high Sam set the bar for the rest of us to shoot for.
