Perry Passed away about an hour ago of a heart attack.May god be with him ,He was a dear friend and i sure am going to miss him.Ken Rossing
 
Aww, man !
Not another one of us. Hope that classic airstream dosn't end up in a trailer park somewhere. You know, Perry is in the HOF ? Maybe there's some parking lot in Heaven with 30 amp for everybody , and good benches,Prime rib on the lunch menu, free beer, maybe ?

I got a call last night saying that he had passed. A lot of us shot with Perry in the late 70's and up and he will be missed.
 
I am deeply saddened to hear of Perry's death. I first met him back in the 70's at a shoot in Knoxville, TN.

He will be missed & remembered.

Joel, that reminds me, Perry would have said, I have one more story, about a beer long....OK Perry, let me reach here in my cooler Joel would have said!!

(You talking about that old Airstream with the pop-out window? and the generator??)

I didn't realize his Airstream was that old. Compared to my "Hacienda"( 1969 )and the "end of the world" generator that Joe Metz gave me ( it uses one cup of 30wt oil to a gallon of gas and pull starts with a section of plastic coated laundry line{ from the '50's }) I figured his rig was pretty modern lookin'. On the subject of coolers--- Neary is officially banned from the "help yourself club",as he drank all of the special run Sleeman's draft at Weikirt a couple years ago. His name is mud.

Perry's Airstream was so old it had wooden-spoked wheels.

Sorry Kenny. We'll quit hyjacking. Its just that Perry was so well liked he is easy to tell stories about.
 
Bummer,

Hadn't been on in a while. Got to know Perry at Holton. Quite the charactor, will miss talking to him.
