Okay Ron, Here Are The Pictures

When I saw that pic about a month ago it was LUST at first sight. I came across a post where a Mike Turner stated that he was the one responsible for designing that stock. I sent him an email but I never got a response. His outfit was called "Turner Customs".

Good luck with finding someone and please post here if you do.

Yes it was Mike that machined the stocks, but Gary finished them. If you decide to buy one through Mike keep in mind that you will still need to do the finish work, like fitting the barreled action to the stock, bedding the action, then painting or staining it to where you want it.

Mike does excellent work, but unless something has changed, be forewarned that you will have quite the wait after ordering. He's never been know to turn orders around very quickly.

Gary please send me contact information. I am planning to order a Theoben from Alan. I would be interested in the stock.

Mike Turner/ Gary Lemon Stock

If you do get a stock from Mike it will only fit a 280 bottle with an AZ quick fill. I have two stocks one with a AZ fill. The other I filled the end of the stock with wood and Bondo. I installed a swift quick fill. The only problem not much meat there, One side of hole maybe1/4 in but the other side less than 1/8 in or less. (front and back) Did make a brass bezel and epoxy it in.
When I was making a 12 fpe regulated one for the worlds. I tried to put a doctor Bob QF but that puts the bottle out further than the end of the stock. With the end of the stock opened the sides were paper thin and flimsy.
I had Gary piller and glass bed his action into both my stocks. The only problem only one fit. The other was .025" wider. So had to hog out all the side bedding plus some and rebed it.
Not sure if Theobens new Quick fill and gauge will fit that stock. I have 3 actions and no two are the same width, so if you bed the action use your action.

I am going to try what the South African team used. 3 in square block mounted on the bottle.
