Need manual for New Hermes TX engraver

Manual for TX

Hello Butch I could use a copy of the manual also, it would be great if you had it scanned into electronic pdf file. :D I can scan and convert for you and email it back to you if from a hard copy. I'm also looking for small font in pic's I believe they size this as 3/8's font in the same style really looking another M at a minimum. Not sure of the font style?

Thanks
Bill

Bill,
I also have a catalog of fonts. I will check later today.

carbide cutters

How do you like the carbide cutters? Are you using the motor?
I've been thinking about putting TX together and having a go at it with carbide.

I build mostly rifles that'll get CerraCoated or blued, too. I've been buying cutters from Bits & Bits. I fabricated a stop for depth of cut. Bits & Bits will re-sharpen your carbide cutters, too. They offer tool geometry for different materials. I am using the motor and was able to get belts from McMaster-Carr. I still diamond drag on S.S. barrels that I bead blast. Blast first, engrave designation after.

Scanning

Hi Butch tried to PM you however it will not allow you to receive any PM's because your PM box is full.
