Mounting a scope

How do I mount a scope on my AR-15? Midway has some thing called a Level level level. They're customer reviews were less then steller.

They leave alot to be desired, tried one, it didnt really work any better than the old method of trial and error.
 
Its a flat top

I read the reviews on the Level,Level,Level, item mid way has. Why pay $20 bucks for that when I can buy some key chain levels at local hard ware store? So I did they'll work just fine.
 
Don't waste your money. They don't indicate level. Some of the things we purchase today can go right into the circular file when you take delivery. Some can be made to work properly, but why should we have to work on them, when the price you pay should correlate with it working properly?

I was speaking of level, level, level. I purchased them, after watching the scope mounting video. I figured, these must be alright. They weren't.
