I wonder if the bad guys will all have to buy some so when they kill someone they'll be covered?

NEVER HOLD ANYONE ACCOUNTABLE FOR WHAT THEY DO...

so no the bad guy will not be required.....

the ins is so the innocent owner can pay a 'TAX" for owning a gun.....nothing else.

and so the victims can profit form the owner..not the perp who was RESPONSIBLE for the incedent...

I think what we are really seeing is an out for the insurance companies to NOT cover firearms under standard homeowners and personal liability policies and force gun owners to pay EXTRA for what's already included in policies now. By the way, what happens in California tends to spread to other areas. So don't be surprised when this great new idea comes to a theater near you.
 
As someone pointed out on another site, some chain and padlocks for the doors, and 5 gal of gas could do a whole lot more damage than a gun short of a piece of field artillery, and in less time and for less money. The anti-gun politicians don't really care about guns except in the hands of people that might be offended by their actions and activities. While Feinstein was screeching about banning guns she was one of the few holders of a concealed carry permit in San Fran 20+ years ago. She's only gotten more shrill in the meantime, and more stupid.
