Lyman Culver measure

H.L.C. and HIS powder measure

Homer stamped H L CULVER on the end of the knob on his inserts. O.W.L. :):):)

Anybody have a ballpark idea what to offer for one, older grey in color measure?
For some reason I'm thinking the gray colored measures were introduced after Culver. Can anyone confirm or deny? I'm very hazy here.

If I remember correctly, both Culver and Jones conversions, some where the original Lyman 55 color and some were painted different colors. The different colors were possibly done later by a later owner. I have a couple of Lyman55/Jones that one is brown and one is blue.

I paid Al Mirdoch $165 in 1982 for my Lyman Culver conversion .
Check in the older Precision Shooting publications for more information. I remember that the last 100 had numbers on them and that 900 were made - ?
Al ran Alberta Precision Shooters Supply and had bought this Lyman -Culver conversion from R.W. Hart.

Possibly someone at R.W.Hart knows more on this subject ....

It could be a Joe Nagy "Culver style" measure which were made by Joe in the late70's into the early 80's till his untimely death.
