Yes and No......

Yes for a few selfish reasons that I cannot speak of........ at this time

Yes because I get to see and BS with some familiar people I meet every other year and maybe share a shot of whiskey or scotch

Yes for the many jokesters who happen to be around.

Yes because maybe just maybe my season will turn around.

Yes that I may be able to pick the brains of the many more veteran/hall of fame shooters than I.

Yes that your fuel is cheaper than mine...... What would happen in the US if a gallon of fuel went up a dollar per gallon overnight?

Yes to cheaper alcohol in the US

Some No's

1850 Kilometers one way.

Our dollar is in the toilet, approx .35 exchange on the dollar

I am going with some unproven equipment and will be shooting some unproven equipment

I am trying to stay positive but I do hope I shoot better than I have been all year

The final yes..... am so looking forward to 17 days away from work even though it will put a BIG DENT in my wallet......

Look out USA...... Canadian Cal is on his way....... LOL

Hi Calvin,

Paul and I are already getting tuned up for the Nats... shot Billings last weekend, shooting Porcupine and the Firewalker on the way there - we've been looking forward to this since Holton last year. Looking forward to seeing you!

The way our yo-yo stock market is behaving, the exchange rate could be 1:1 by the time the Nats get started.

Can't wait to get there! I look forward to the Super Shoot And both Nationals every year! This NBRSA NATIONALs will be especially good because it's followed by the World Championships. I didn't make the USA team but I am going to enjoy being the South African Coach!

The Canadian refuge problem

Donald Trump has it all wrong. He is looking South when he should be looking North. America is being swamped by a wave of Canadian economic migrants, at least 12 by last count. They raft across the northern US losing many lives in the process. Rowing across the prairie is tough on them. When they get here they pump our cheap gas and guzzle our cheap alcohol depriving needy Americans of these two precious resources. Oh sure, they do bring some cultural diversity with them but how many wolverine pelts and cases of Canadian beer can we absorb before America begins to lose its identity as a country...eh? Tim

A lot of truths there Tim. A couple more things though. They are very graceful about sharing their alcohol, I have found, but on another note, they insist on speaking their own language while here..................

Dave, You mean English? How on earth will we in the Southwest ever understand them? If they plan to be here they need to speak Spanish like the rest of us! Tim
