Hope this is in the correct forum, sorry if it's not.

Harold is an old friend who is a bench rest shooter and gunsmith. I believe he had a couple of Texas records back in the 90's. He built a rifle for me that I love and many have tried to talk me outta and did it for almost nothing!

I would love to find him again if anyone could pass on information to me that would help me find him I would greatly appreciate it.

A private msg would be fine or if you know him I would give you my number to pass on.

Thank You,
Steve

Jerry,

Thanks for the reply.

Really hate to hear that! I really liked him. I lost touch with him after he had a few major changes in his life and I quit shooting rifles.

He was a great guy and helped out a lot of people I knew who shot rifles, some professionally.

I tried to find him a few years ago with absolutely no luck.

Thank you,
Steve

Harold was a neat guy. He helped teach a class to the HPD SWAT sniper team. He built a rifle for me and I believe other people for basically nothing.

I was waiting on him to finish my rifle and he finally called me to come and get it. I drove all the way across Houston in heavy traffic. Something I will not due unless I HAVE TO. I got there and he said he didn't have time to thread my bbl for the compensator that I would need to bring it back and he would do it. He handed me rifle and I looked it over. I was very happy, but disappointed that he had not finished it. I would have waited! More trips in traffic! He asked me what I thought and I could say only great things. He took the rifle from me and showed me everything he did. I had NO idea what needed to be done, he just did it. Finally he unscrewed the thread protector on the end of the rifle....... It fit so perfectly you could not not tell from the side of the bbl or the crown! I guess for a good machinist it's not a big deal, but it was to me.

He also routinely made fun of his looks and pointed out his wife was a babe. She was. I also met his daughter, she was a very sweet cute little girl. Wish I had found Harold sooner.....

Thanks for the replies.

Steve
