Leupold Mark IV scope

I have a Mark IV MI-16 scope that shows signs that it may be a fake according to the Leupold web sight but I can't believe that Premier would or could install a 35X buster on it, I haven't called Leupold yet to verify the S/N on it, what do you think?

Never seen Premier boost fixed power scopes. But they could have done a few. Give Jr. a call with the serial number he could tell the truth.
 
I have seen a lot of boosted Mark 4 16X the ones I saw were 24x and 32x done by Premiere. A lot of guys used them for longrange hunting because they have 140 minutes of elevation. They also hold up to the recoil of 50 BMG's. Matt

It is not a fake Leupold if it is a FIXED power...all of the fake Leupold scopes are variable power (3.5-10x, 4.5-14x, 6-24x)..
 
thanks for the info...I just called Leupold service and they said it was a 2000 model and the s/n is correct, so I dont have to worry about selling it as true Leupold.
