leather rear bag??

I need to apply some type of slick-em to my rear leather bag that i just got from Sinclair. The bag is one of the low ride ProtekTor Model leather bag. I am really not all that impressed with the bag thus far. The top isn't very even. I may have to much sand in it?? Anyway is there any home remedies of slick-em i can put on the bunny ears. The bad seems a bit sticky. Thanks Lee

Lee: One of the easiest is baby powder. Also stock tape on your rifle will also help. I have also seen guys use dryer sheets. Hope this helps Tony
 
Just be sure the baby powder is the kind that is pure talc. There is one that is corn starch or something like that. Look on the lable...pure talc. Nothing else. Course if you want to order some Boron Nitride, now that will really slick up a bag. I use BN on front and rear bags.

Seems like a while back there was someone posting that had a fair amount of BN. He would send you a 35mm film cannister of it if you would return his shipping costs. I got a cannister, sent him $5 for his trouble. I have since ordered several ounces from someone, can't remember who. May have even been on ebay. I think the smallest amount you can buy is about 1#, which is enough for just about everyone on this site. Get the 70 nanometer size, I think it is the smallest particle size. Talk about slick. I also coat bullets with it. You can hardly pick them up just to seat them. They keep squirting out of your fingers. Best thing is that it is white and doesn't get your hands dirty.

dryer sheets

if you try a dryer sheet make sure you use it in the dryer first..
