How are you. Yes it has been a busy year, also been shooting quite a bit, shot in two world championships and I still have the European F-Class championships at the end of the month so thought I had better treat the wife to a holiday before she starts complaining. As she likes playing poker told her I would take her to Vegas she was over the moon. Many not be impressed if I find a Benchrest comp to visit, if she gets upset I'll just have to take her to Wallmart and buy her something nice.

I am 1,100 miles from Las Vegas. This is what I found on the Web.

http://www.dsrpc.net/ As I recall that is just west of the city. You can check out their calendar. I am sure that someone from Vegas on this site can help you.

As for as the Jewell trigers, time is short. You can call the Jewell people in Texas and if they have what you want they could possible sent them to your hotel by UPS or Fed-X.

While you are in Vegas, you might check out Hover Dam on Lake Mead south of town. It is a big thing and it won't cost anything to look at it. Cheapest thing in Las Vegas.

Thanks Concho
There is a .22br match there over the weekend I will phone the range and see if the know of any c/f br matches in the area.

Tim in Tenn is great to deal with. He was really fast with my order. I would bet he would send as few to your hotel. He posts here and on 6br

Just like Bill to send you to Hoover Dam..

I've read a little bit about Las Vegas and I'll pass it on...

Whatcha really need is a Saturday night at the Palms. Go in the front door and sit down at one of those Double Double Bonus video poker machines. One of the finest views in the universe. Don't waste your time going up to the "Playboy" club unless you want a good picture of the RIO.

Hit the "Flame Steakhouse" at the El Cortez downtown and order the filet and lobster. Just ignore the condition of the casino on the way in and you'll be OK. Best bang for the buck in Vegas food wise.

Don't miss La Re've at the Wynn. Money ahead for a show and don't pay extra for good seats - the way it's built they're all good.

If you play blackjack, you can find good $10/$15 double deck games at any of the "Station" casinos. Mirage/MGM for $25 and Bellagio is far the better for higher stakes. The 3/2 single deck games downtown may look OK but they don't deal deep enough for the player to ever have a mathematical advantage. The El Cortez will deal deeply unless somebody ups their bet so if you count don't be misled into thinking it's a good game.

For video poker it's back to the Palms for those 10/6 DDB machines (100.04%)....and the view.

Rent a car and have a GPS!!!!! Use the valet and bell services. Presidental Limo is reasonable should the occasion arise. You may enjoy the night heliocopter ride over city.

If you're going to Vegas - GO TO VEGAS! You can shoot when you get back home.

Dont forget the bunny ranch great seafood!!! Blackjack the horseshoe downtown...

Just in Case....

You don't have Jewell's number, you can reach Brian at 512 353 2999. I'm sure he can help.

Thanks for the tips Wilbur the fillet and lobster sound good to me I'll definetly give the Palms a try too. I wasnt planning to shoot just thought I might visit whilst the missus was playing poker. Thanks for the number Virg I'll give him a call. Francis instead of taking home dollars I think I would rather take back some Hotenstiens.
Now if I win millions how do I get out of town safely.
Martin

Thanks Tim I'll contact you when I get to vegas
Im on my way now

You have GOT to go Betastes hole in the wall behind the Las Vegas Flamingo. Best Italian Food on the Planet. Of course the large decanters of wine help a lot. This is the very first place that the wife and myself go after we get off de plane.

Many times I've not been able to walk out of this joint.

Whooo what a rush.
