I agree Jerry. Just trying to get dates for customers. I have 7 barrels on order and call every 2 months for updates. And when I go to another shop that does tactical work and the owner gets a barrel in 2 weeks makes you wonder where you stand.

I tend to hoard and buy things before I need them. Oh wait, that's called planning ahead. Just about three years ago I ordered two .30 cal by 17 twist barrels on the same day. One order went to Rock Creek, one order went to Bartlein. Paul at Rock told me it would be 4 weeks. Frank at Bartlein told me it would be 15 weeks. They came on the very same day 15 weeks later. This is not to bash Rock Creek but to praise Bartlein for their honesty.
