Match Report

I’ll take a crack at it...

27 Eastern Region shooters attended the WWCCA Spring Tune-Up match. Saturday was dry and temperatures were near 60 degrees F but shooting conditions were very "sporty" as Victor Potts would say. Gusts nearing 25mph in the afternoon.

Here is your top 5 and small group from the LV 100yd Agg:

1. Lacy Tilley - .2536
2. Dale Dillingham - .2602
3. Peter Smith - .2890
4. Jeff Gaidos - .2916
5. Brian Robinson - .3042

SG- Steve Theye - .155

Lacy Tilley was on fire Saturday, shooting three .1XX groups despite the challenging wind conditions.

SG- Jeff Gaidos - .145

Jack put a wooping on us Saturday afternoon, winning the Agg by a large margin. His biggest group (.263) was smaller the the second place Agg. Nice job Jack!

The steak dinner at the club house Saturday night was delicious. Much appreciation for all the club members who provided and served the dinner!

Sunday provided more challenges. The wind wasnt blowing quite as strong but temperatures dropped below 40 degrees and it rained all day. Staying warm was difficult and staying dry was impossible but 24 shooters toughed it out.

Here is your top 5 and small group in the HV 200yd Agg:

1. Mario Sanchez - .2654
2. Lee Hachigan - .2755
3. Jack Neary - .2779
4. Jeff Gaidos - .2990
5. Peter Smith - .3006

SG- Lee Hachigan - .174 SCREAMER!

Fun fact: Only two groups were shot at 100yds Saturday that measured smaller than Lee's .174 at 200yds!

Also nice job Mario! I'm still unsure if he ever used his sighters during this Agg. haha.

Sunday afternoon remained cold and rainy but the winds did die down a little.
