the scope situation is a mental handicap only. People seem to think they need to see a dot on a target to shoot well. It ain't so. None of the greatest 6 X shooters can see the dot but they all learned to shoot a 6X rifle well. None of us can see, ok. So what's the problem? It is truly gratifying to shoot a 250 with a high X count with a 6X rifle and it is done frequently, in spite of the scope power and blind mice shooting with them.

with a 6X scope limitation suffers the same fate as IBS hunter rifle shooting....lack of widespread interest due to the scope X limitation. Its not the only reason but it sure is at or near the top.
