Interesting Day With A Scope At The Range

Thanks Glen, I,m not sure if the lady I spoke to was really sure about the answer she gave me. Hope you get a better answer than I did. Not a knock on the lady I spoke to. Just some times people in customer service don,t have all the answers.

Another story about customer service. I called a large restaurants customer service number to inquire about gluten free hamburger buns. She had no idea what gluten free buns were or are. Just another story.

Please let us know what you find out Glen. As I,m sure it won,t be the same as mine.

John.. Earlier today,I spoke to a lady at Bullets.Com. Without getting into any details of our 10 minute conversation, I would strongly recommend that if you suspect that you are having issues with your March Scope, send it back to Deon Optics in Japan. Repeat,Repeat,Repeat.

Glen,

I got that impression also. But I,m sure I read a article that said Bullets.Com was sending a person to Japan for training to repair the scopes. Maybe it didn,t happen.

br scope

In the gunsmith section of this forum Bruno's has a post that they are taking orders for the new Nightforce BR scope at $1750.

Jackie. I just tried the same thing

Jackie,

I was looking for a scope to put on one of my sporter rifles and found one of the 36x Leupolds you froze for me. I thought it was a long shot, but mounted it in non adjustable Kelby rings and went out and shot it. It wasn't off by much so I rotated the scope in the rings and was able to get it within about 1/2 inch of pout of aim at 100 yds. It looked like it might shoot so I took it down to Phoenix and shot a couple groups during practice. I'll attach a picture. It shot amazing.
I couldn't believe it when I saw your post that you had done the same thing.
Let me know how that Valada compares to the frozen scope in fixed rings.
I think you might be on to something.

Russ, I shot a VFS Match at Austin yesterday, I had the Valdada Scope on my 30BR.

The Rifle never shot better. Point of Aim stayed dead on. The only three X's I missed were strictly with the condition. The Rifle/scope combo definetally had 25 X's in it.

I don't trust anything until it proves its self in a Match. That is one reason I wanted to go to Austin to see how the setup would do. Put in on the line, so to speak. So far, so good.
