Attached is a copy of the IBS 600yd Shooter of the Year points. Please look this over and if you find any mistakes let me know.

These totals are as of October 1, 2008 and do not include any points for pending records. Those record points will have to be added later when the records are confirmed.

This was a good year in 600yd competition, and we got to witness some of the best shooting ever. At the last match at Piedmont we witnessed three groups under an inch. Competition is tough and I would like to invite those of you who haven't tried this 600 yard stuff to give it a try. It is addictive.

Larry, looks good, I know how much work this job can be.
thanks Bill Truitt

Just a side note, I have thought of the small groups at 600, I also recall the time I and others heard a bullet blow up and a 4 shot group was it. The fifth shot did not hit the target after the first 3 were in a hole. The shooter was shocked to hear he had not shot a record. Have talked several times with people who wonder of doubles and tripples. I took a video camera to the berm and tried it out. It works well and gives the range a chance to count shots. The camera used is not high price, about $200 or so and can cover 3 to 5 target backers. Using a mini DV tape with play back abilities. Just wanted to share the info.
