would you say these are a japanese version of the model 98 mauser?? i think the rem 798 and the cz are closer "replicas"/. roninflag

the rem 798 is in fact a yugoslavian built mauser, as its the charlesdaly/interarms mkx. ive never really considered a howa a mauser, but then i guess everything on the market today is a mauser knockoff.
