Thanks for all the help in running the match.

Great shooting guys

Would have liked to be there but shot @ Gateway instead. Interesting to see the mid-barrel tuners are still being used, at least I think that is what those rings on the barrels are. I know the ones on my rifles work.

Congratulations to all the 750 shooters! Very impressive, especially Todds 750-37X in LV Class along with Paul's 750-61X in HV Class, not to mention how you shot 5 consecutive 250's through your 6 targets, and of course Mark's 750-49X in HV combined with a 748-47X in LV.

WOW! Wish I could have been there, and you had better believe, weather permitting I'll be there in March.

Dave

I'm confused

Scores say Paul is using a Thomas and the picture of Paul shows him shooting a RAW. Where Paul's first 3 cards and second 3 cards shot with the Thomas?

Some real fancy shooting fellas, I can't think of anything better to do when the weather is so bad than shooting indoors.

Don't see Paul in any of the pictures.

Boomer, yes I shot my HV Thomas all 6 cards. My LV Thomas is back at Mike's for the side lever up-grade. When I get it back will send Mike my HV Thomas for the Up-grade.
The target I dropped points was my fault. If you don't push the bolt forward all the way the pellet will go low. 149 10's with one bull a 7 with 119 X isn't bad. All with pellets from the Tin. I was shooting on Bench 7 to the right of Todd. We keep bench 4 open to walk down to change targets.

OK, my mistake

My mistake... Todd is behind the RAW and the picture with Todd in front has Paul's signature under it. Very nice color on the Thomas and Randolph rest Paul, burgundy is my favorite color. If I ever get a Thomas made that color is it.

Turbo keen,
Most LV and HV class shoot .177's I shoot 8.4 JSB or AA in LV Class my HV class Thomas or STEYR love JSB monsters.

My Open Class SUMO (Chip Smith) with a Dan Brown spec. .22 Kreiger barrel shoot 16 gr AA or 18 gr JSB
Pellets out of the tin. Won First place open class at 2014 Nationals one card 18.1 JSB the last two cards with 16 Gr AA pellets.
Also at the North East Regional shot a 750 with a mix of pellets. Also from the Tin.

Out of the Tin deal Paul. I must say, the entire process of washing, re-lubing, rolling, etc, etc seemed daunting and unnecessary to me. I am pleased to see that either pellet quality or rifle design improvements seem to have solved some of it.

I saw on the weather this morning you may be getting more "much needed snow" today.

Paul,

What did Chris Sloan change to shoot a much improved score on his second series?

Thanks,

Steve W.

Chris Sloan went to a heaver pellet.

Steve,
Chris will have to answer for sure. The first set of targets he shot different pellets each card. I am guessing he started 8.4 and went up each card.
I think 13.4 monsters was his third card. His second set his first card was clean until he dropper a point on his last bull. All three cards were 249 with good X count. He is close to shooting 250's.

Paul

Thanks Paul, you are correct, first set was with JSB 10, last card JSB 13, then second set was all JSB 13 and taking a bit more time between each shot....hope to break the 250 soon (tough with all the excellent shooters in Holbrook!
