Looking for a "Lapua" type quality in the Swift, any ideas? The only thing I can find other than Remington and Winchester is Norma, how are they compared to Rem & Win?

I had the same issue years ago with a 22/250 imp. I bit the bullet and found some Norma brass that was an excellent choice. Compared to either Remington or Winchester you can't go wrong.

I think Keith is right on, I find Norma brass to be so much better then Remington or Winchester....

I'd heard that Norma brass was "soft", but I bought some of their 6 BR brass to turn into .22 BR and have had no complaints. Hard as a tax collectors heart, and uniform too.

What you have heard in regards to "soft" brass is from the 6PPC guys who are loading in the "upper window". The pressures they shoot at cannot be published!

Norma is hands down the best brass for a swift (because Lapua does not make any).
I have shot a swift for years and found that happiness is using Norma brass, Neck size only with a bushing die (about 3-5 firing's) before you push the shoulder back and that will save you from the trimming nightmare of using RCBS standard dies and Win. or Rem. brass

Agree, but Lapua now makes 22-250 brass that fit's my 22-250AI reamer just right, Rem. and Win. brass always suck in this chambering because they are undersized in the web area compared to Norma ,Lapua and even Federal brass.
