Help! Identify this rimfire bolt

Doug, I am in New Zealand..........I don't think the others are, and I think the bolts are still in the USA......Ian

I'm pretty sure that is/those are my bolts -- three were lost in transit in mid-April (I sent you a PM including the last three digits of the rifle serial numbers that appear on the base of the bolt handle(s)). If they match, definitely mine. How in the world they got into your brass shipment is truly a wonder!?! Needless to say, it would be terrific to get them back!

Does anyone on this forum know Richard429 or know how to contact him? I sent him a PM, but it appears he hasn't been back to the forum for some time. There is apparently no way to send him an Email through the forum either. I'm just hoping that my bolts (pretty certain of it) are still available, but...

Give Wilber a shout.......not sure what it takes to register now but he most likely had to put down a valid email address.

I see his last activity was on the 18th, not sure if that was when he last visited or when he last posted.

I second the idea to call Wilbur. He's been helpful in the past...kind of hard to catch at home, though.

Thanks to the help of IndianaJames and Wilbur I have been able to get in contact with Richard429 and we've confirmed that these are my bolts (via the three numbers on the base of each bolt handle) and I should have them back soon! This has truly been a mystery wrapped in an enigma -- or at least really weird! Still one missing -- I can hope.

I am VERY happy to report that I now have my two bolts back and they are resting comfortably in their respective rifles. :) I suspect that the third one will never be seen again, but... IndianaJames, Wilbur and Richard429 made it happen and I am very grateful! How this all happened is and will likely remain a mystery, but then the government (USPS) was involved, so...

Hi Doug! It's the other Doug. I'm glad you finally got the bolts! What a story they could tell! lol! I guess two out of three ain't bad overall! Looks like I'm becoming "recognized"! just would be too much to think the other one would show up somewhere! Good day! DA
