Gene I've posted my method before. I do what most do, but a little different. My brass grows in length with my method, so I measure my OAL first to make sure it doesn't grow longer than my FF chamber happens to be. I have a lot of old off brand "CCI" primers, seat them and put a heavy dose of Bullseye and a Playdough or clay plug to seal it off as I use no bullet. Yes a 220 Russian or 6BR unturned brass will chamber in a 6PPC or 30BR chamber without work. I fire and then pop the primers out without sizing. I trim to length and uniform the primer pocket and flash hole. Now it takes very little to expand the necks and no donut. Turn the necks and load your normal load and fire them in your rifle to test your zero and final form. I do 20 rounds for a weekend match. I do have a lot of i weekend fired PPC brass for cheap if anybody uses .262 necks.
Try it sometime"fireforming" without bullets.
Not mentioned much, but several shooters do this, that is chunk it after the weekend. When you shoot a very heavy load it really works your brass. I haven't priced an annealer, but I'll bet you can buy a lot of brass for what they sell for.
