Front Rest

I believe the bottom section was done by Gary Hayes. This is a beautifully done piece of work. The bottom weighs 26lbs.

The top is custom designed by an unidentified craftsman. (Maybe Gary Hayes). It is also a beautifully done piece. It weighs 10lbs.

The Rest weighs a total of 36lbs. Its Rock solid. I need to get an accurate description of this Rest, just in case I decide to put it up for sale.

TIA.

The bottom is a Gary Hayes, but not the top, just had breakfast with him. In fact the bottom is one of his newer ones, hence the cut outs on the levelers

Thanks a bunch Bill. Your help puts me halfway there.

Lets take a closer look at that Rest Top that came with the Hayes.

If somebody recognizes the builder of this beautiful work of art. Please Speak out.

Update!

I was just informed, by a retired Benchrest shooter(Friend) that the top on my Hayes Rest was custom designed and built by Hall Of Famer,Charles Huckeba. This news doesn't surprise me. If anybody knows how to design and build a rest top,Charles Huckeba should be included in that group.

So now you know.
