Notice that big brake on the front. The Rifle is probably in the 20 pound range. That thing, while producing a big blast, probably does not produce any more "felt recoil' than a 20 gage shotgun................JACKIE

That brake works very well, cut nicely for muzzle jump as well as recoil. Looks a tiny bit nicer than a tuner
If those are factory loads why is the bolt hard to close?

It's even less than a 20ga. I can spot my shots at 200 yards with my 338 Lapua much easier than I can with my 243 Win. The both weigh around 11 lbs. The 243 however doesn't have a brake on it.
