firing pin spring

I'm going to have a local spring shop make a new firing pin spring for a Cooper M57. The old spring is wavy and rubbing on the I.D. of the bolt body and the spring I.D. is .030 in larger than the firing pin O.D. What would be an acceptable spring to firing pin clearance to eliminate the spring distortion? Thanks.

If you have the time and patience to tinker with it - I made one from a Remington 700 FP spring.

wolff

The first thing I did was call Wolff, they don't make any springs for Cooper and don't do any custom work. I did find a spring calculator and got some ideas, if I can locate a supplier I'll try that. If I do I'll post the results. Thanks guys.
