Enlarged primer pockets, all of a sudden

I wish I could get barrels that shot well for 4000 rds. I would build a special rack/display for that barrel and hang it on the wall, it deserves it.

if you look at it with a bore scope you will find carbon and plenty of it. What looks like fire cracking often is just burnt on, ironed in carbon. It takes mechanically removing it to get it out. I have been using a Metal cleaning product called Big 45 metal cleaner lately with great results. Check them out.
