Hi Guys,
We had 7 shooters. I want to welcome two new shooters to this match.
AL Joly who joined us for our last rimfire match and talked him into trying Airgun.

Mark Normandin who is new to PCP airguns. He shot a different airgun each target. Great shooting Mark and Al!

Doug Shea did some Magic on his .22 Theoben ! Holbrooks first ever 750!! with 21X

Mitch Hill did win target #2 with a 250 6X same as Doug but won the tie breaker with his first X on Bull #2 as Doug's first X was Bull #3.

Mitch had a new FX Royal he shot on target two and three and got his 250 with. He shot target one with his AA S400SL.

Norm is doing well with his FX Royal with two 248's

Dave had to leave after two targets. Thanks for the help in scoring and range setup.

Hope the weather corperates for our out door fun shoot. Oct 18 th.

Congratulations Doug...a 750! And congratulations to all, some very good scores.

As you know I don't do AG, but I have been following with interest what you guys are doing. The scores have dramatically improved over the past two years. Again, good shooting!

Paul,

Thanks for running another fine match at Holbrook. I always look forward to them and only wish that I could have stuck around long enough to realize Doug had run the gamut. I don't think there have been too many, if any, before him who have shot a 750 AGBR target. Congratulations Doug!

Great shooting Doug

Just wanted to let you know that third target is the 2nd highest score shot to date. Heck of a fine day shooting

Thanks guys , we have a good group of shooters at Holbrook. Paul runs a fun match and its always a good time.

Nice score

Doug,

Once we get the drug tests back and have the rifle sent to Alabama HQ for testing (should take no more than 6-8 months we can certify and records. I am bringing a Chinese rifle with hardly and rust on it for to use till your personal rifle returns.

PS Don't let that shooting stool of yours our of your sight!!!

I now suspect all the "fat free" foods your accomplice Paul brought were there to "weaken" the competition!! The dramatic change from donut holes obviously affected several of us!!

Seriously though, terrific shooting!

Yea Norm ....Fig Newtons and Twinkies ain't exactly "Fat Free" foods. At lease, I don't think they are....

Thanks for the warm welcome

I would like to thank Paul Bendix and all of the great guys at the Holbrook ( 10/3) shoot for the warm welcome. What can you say about a gent that lets not 1 but 2 newbies share his equipment ( gun, rest, pellets and air) during a match where he's competing! The sport has no finer Ambassador.I'd like also to thank Doug Shea for allowing me to use his record breaking gun after he completed his sweep. I was only able to shoot a 249-5 with it so I may have damaged it somewhat! The rest of the gents to a man are willing to share not only there equipment but also there hard earned knowledge, as well as a true love for the game. I do believe I'm hooked see you on the 18th!

Mark,

And, to think, next spring when we crank things back up at Pinnacle Mountain in Lyndeborough, NH, your drive time will cut to only 35 to 40 minutes. From where you are to where we'll be is so easy it's almost rediculous.

Hope to be there on the 18th for the fun shoot, but right now it's looking less than likely.

Dave
