I am getting a new barrel for my blaser rifle in 6,5x55. Which dies do you think i should get? I was thinking of forster benchrest...

Redding.........my experience with the forster dies was they weren't better then anything else.
I find Redding quality consistently better.
Though I have had good sets of Hornady Custom series.

I have the Redding Competition Bushing Neck Die Set. I like them,

I would like to have a really good full lenght resizing die...

I.M.H.O. :

Lee Collet NS die, Hornady " Custom-Grade New Dimension seater. Extra mandrels for the LEE die cost very little, and can their diameter reduced ( by " sanding " ) to obtain best neck tension.

If you want to bushing NS, I recommend a Hornady combo " Shoulder bump / bushing neck size die "; which will accept Wilson-style bushings.

It really doesn't matter....... your ACTUAL chance of getting a match through serendipitous good fortune is very low. Basically you're asking "If I buy a car off ebay and then get some wheels and tires from Craig's List.... "what brand rims should I look for?""

It's like asking "which jeans will fit me best? Levi's or Roebucks?"

All these guys who answer "this worked "best" for me" are simply passing gas. There are no "better" fitments between makers. There CAN'T be, except that in certain cases like where the same guy (Dave Kiff) makes DIE REAMERS and CHAMBERING REAMERS that match each other.

The entire idea that Redding is "better" than RCBS or Forster is "straighter" than Hornady is just goofyspeak.

The only thing that matters for your FL die is it's FIT, that's a relationship between YOUR chamber and the die. It need be ESTABLISHED, not guessed at and opined over.
