Bill... you asked what can we do.. I'll tell you what to do.. Prepare yourself, because you are about to see a Civil War break out.. I have never saw the need to purchase a "black rifle", but after what I saw on TV today, I think the time has come to make a purchase and also purchase about 1500 rounds of ammo.. I have been resisting this urge for a long time. My wife and I both have CCW permits, but this thing is escalating to a new level.. I am at the point where I am getting greatly concerned about my safety and the safety of my family.. Our "Piece of Totally Useless S**t" in the White House has divided this country, more in the last seven years than it has ever been... I retired from 37 years in Law Enforcement and I would not want to have to go back into Law Enforcement in this day and time.. I WILL BE PREPARED...

Thinking along the same lines as you. Every time I see something like this I think of the movie Apocalypto.
This is well beyond Sad. Some of those good people were shot in the back. This morning I saw videos taken from an adjacent roof but where the local Police Snipers when that fellow was banging away behind that pillar. Time I fear has come to shoot first when something of this nature starts to get out of hand. A peaceful protest it was not and very few seldom are now days and the police end up being the ones targeted and now the lighter colored of skin as well.

Something I heard on Fox news about 5am on the way to work this morning by a black conservative commentator has stuck with me all day.
Who can name the last 2 Hispanics killed by a Police Officer.
Who can name the last 2 Whites killed by a Police Officer.
My Family's thoughts and Prayers are with all affected Law Enforcement Officers in Dallas and everywhere else.

Color has nothing to do with it. How many times has a criminal been lead into the back door and let out the front. Some of these folks have rap sheets several pages long. They are not out there delivering Girl Scout Cookies as some would lead you to beleave especialy your local News services. No one informs you how many lives have they destroyed along the way yet when they are shot for doing another wrong! They are then considered to be God fearing, peaceful productive citizens not out to cause anyone harm.

In this case, it might have been the killer in Dallas who sniped at the police from ambush. It might have been the cops in Louisiana or the cop that killed the school teacher who was reaching for his wallet. Or it might even have been when Cain killed Abel.
The point I was trying to make is that no other innocent person, regardless of color, should lose their life and all of the days of their future because of what happened in Dallas last night.

Because the white people have a better upbringing than that... We respect law and order and although we may not agree with something, we don't riot and show our ass just for a "free shopping night"... If some of these Law Enforcement officers would be given the "green light" to shoot looters and arsonists, you would see that stop..

Dave you know all these people the police shoot were innocent and fine upstanding citizens of the community with nary a blemish or previous encounter with the law? The slain persons mother ends up on TV saying how their child has never done anything like this before and why did the officer need to shoot him. I am going to have to call bull**** on that. Obama has gone out of his way to help promote this kind of activity among the African American society. That the white man has held them down. I myself never saw the need for an AR type of rifle but have come to realize that I was wrong in my thinking. I am currently buying one. I fear things are going to get a lot worse before anything changes particularly if that Obama wannabe Hillary Clinton gets elected. Stay vigilant.

Bill, I believe people have jumped the gun on the accusations of what really happened in Baton Rouge and in Minnesota. I think this needs to play out before pointing at anybody. Have there been bad police shootings? Yes. Have police suffered from doing the right thing? Yes.
