At the awards presentation, Scott Hunter read off the results for the Gulf Coast region Shooter of the Year. Gary Bristow was the winner by a large margin. If you notice in the photo that Aaron French posted giving the results of the Buffalo Shoot two gun! Gary is the awards winner in the orange shirt, third from the left holding up about as many pieces of wood as he can hold with both hands. Gary did an outstanding job of shooting in just about every match he shot this year. Congratulations, Gary

yes, a huge congrats to Gary!! i don't remember the numbers but Gary won the Gulf Coast Region Shooter of the Year by an enormous margin.

i should have included the names on the pic of winners from the Buffalo, i'll do that here.

It's because...

It's because of Gary extensive practice at the monthly Austin Rifle Club's VFS/Hntr matches that Gary has honed his winning skills (not). It's really his great shooting skills and perseverance coupled with a great personality that has moved Gary to the winners circle repeatably.

Thanks for the words of encouragement guys, much appreciated!! Gotta go practice so I can come in first instead of so many seconds this year.
