I like Boyd's stool. it is solid as a dollar and as simple as a crow bar.

I finally remembered that Dennis Thornbury had sent me pictures and dimensions of one of the Visalia range stools.

These stools are light, very strong, comfortable, and almost impervious to the elements.

Very nice idea. Personally, I carry some 16X16 pieces of 1" and 2" thick exterior foam insulation with me to allow for increased height as required. They are also nice and warm to sit on while in my enclosed deer stands at -10C and a piece under my feet helps to keep my feet warm.

The stool Lee posted is for individuals ONLY. They are a bit dangerous (lack of a better word) for the casual user.

The only problem with Boyd's stool is that it looks too good. Someone might be tempted to lift a set for their dining room. I suggest an ugly paint job.
