Comparison Testing at the Range

Once you start using windflags you will realize how much time and money you have wasted shooting without them.

Bullet selection is critical. I have some 66gr customs from one maker that will shoot a 3 and then a 6 and then a 2 and a 5. I changed to a different ogive from Knight's bullets and the big groups disappeared.

Buy a Harrell's powder measure and spend some time at home dropping and weighing charges. Write it all down in your notebook. Then you take the powder measure to the range with you and you don't have to weigh the charges. You can try different loads very quickly.

Wearing out your bbl is something you should strive for. Then have a good aftermarket bbl installed and your shooting skill will suddenly look much better.
