Changes in dates for the NBRSA Long Range Group Nationals at Huntsville, TX...

Wilbur, if you could please make this a sticky, I'd appreciate it.

The NBRSA Long Range 200/300 Yard Group Nationals that was scheduled to take place at Walker County Benchrest in Huntsville, TX on August 4th and 5th due to a scheduling conflict will be resheduled. Not a conflict with the NBRSA, but with the owner of the range's schedule. The new dates for it are October 6th and 7th. I guarantee you it will be a lot more enjoyable temperature wise to shoot a match at Huntsville in October than it will be the first weekend of August. So, mark your calendar for October 6th and 7th. Don't be scared of shooting 300 yard groups, they go in a hole there just as well as at 100 and 200. If you want a chance at breaking records, come shoot the NBRSA Long Range 200/300 Yard Group Nationals. If you see this change and know of anyone who was planning on being there to shoot the match, please let them know that the dates have been changed. The last thing that I want to happen is for someone to show up on August 4th and 5th expecting to shoot a match that has been changed to another weekend. It's really short notice as the original date is a month away, but it just can't be helped. The NBRSA Long Range 200/300 Yard Score Nationals is also at Walker County Benchrest. It is unaffected and will still take place on September 1st and 2nd.

See you there,

Mike Bryant

They were right here next to the drinking glasses

I had hoped to attend but I am in the process of moving. I am about done after packing enough cardboard boxes to house all of Fort Worth's homeless and garage their shopping carts. Wait a minute. Where are my wallet and car keys? Tim

Tim, I’m sure your wife would appreciate you heading to Huntsville this weekend. You’d probably find all that valuable stuff that you had packed of yours had disappeared over the weekend. Just how many 6 PPC reamers do you need anyway or all those barrel drops that you had been saving for future projects just miraculously disappear. Hope you get moved in time to shoot the last GC group match of the year. Guess who is leading in the GC region shooter of the year race? Gary Who? This one will determine how badly he beats us all.
