Camp Perry Records?

Good morning,

My father shot at NRA matches at Camp Perry in the 1960's and also most likely in the 1950's, and I'd like to find out which of his rifles he used at those matches. Is there anywhere a website of Camp Perry results by year that I can search? I've emailed Camp Perry but haven't heard anything from them yet, though information may be forthcoming.

Thanks for any leads.

Check with the CMP web site, Civilian Marksmanship Program. They run the Camp Perry shoot along with the NRA.

Not to discourage you from searching further, but back in the day when the matches were ran by the DCM, everything, as was in the day, was all paper copy, I don't think the DCM transferred the paper copies into efiles to CMP.

What they maintained good record of is the Distinguished records. If your Dad earned his Distinguished Rifleman's Badge, you can search by his last name. The search will show the name, the year badge was earned, and the badge number.

The NRA maintained the classification but you need his NRA number to do the search.

And they also maintained the match results fired by the individual, again by ID number.
