butt end of stock on model 742

my friend dropped his gun climbing up the tree and when the gun landed on butt end of stock it broke,do you guys know where i can tell him he might find and purchase anothe stock already finished

Depending on how bad the break is, you can cut off and add a recoil pad.

most breaks can be repaired without replacing or shortening.

When is the last time you replaced the forend wood? 742's Were notorious for split forends. My point is if you decide to replace the rear stock, think about getting both and having a matched pair, sooner or later the 742's all needed forends replaced.
