bore scopes

Butch all I use it for is cleaning purposes only! I've seen barrels that had fire cracks to beat the band and still shot like crazy. So I say to people if it was shooting and know it doesn't, maybe it needs a better cleaning or if its shot out, just have it cut off and re-chambered. I've also done that a number of times and they came right back.

a bore guide with a .195 or so hole in each end ?
do custom br actions have a uniform bolt dia ?
bolt dia tube with a thru hole of .195, or tubing plugged and each end
with a .195 hole
lots of simple support methods

You are so right, lots of options. With my TK Nolan bore guide it does a nice job of supporting the bore scope but limits the depth that you can insert it. I was also thinking of turning some nylon bushings on the lathe to fit in the action for support.
