My dad, Bill Dittman passed away August 6th at the age of 86. He grew up in Northern Pennsylvania and as a kid, hung out in the Taylor and Robbins gun shop in Eldred, PA. He and I have been shooting Benchrest together for over 25 years.
For those who may not know, dad was a research engineer for Georgia Tech. In addition to Benchrest, he was an avid hunter and also a third degree BlackBelt in Hapkido. He taught Hapkido for many years and was even inducted into the US Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
I cannot tell you how fortunate I have been to be able to spend all that time with my dad shooting benchrest. He will be missed,
Scott Dittman
