sorry to be obtuse...does it slide on the insert or "in" as you said, meaning the insert moves in the tray...thanks man nice work

the block on the bottom of the grip slides inside the walnut block,and the block sits inside the tray on the windage base...I change it out for a sandbag to shoot my other centergrip pistols..plus I change the front top to a special set-back top cause the rest is a little long for my centergrip stock pistols..
