I have hunted in Colorado for many yrs - but with the new laws -NO MORE. All hunters should boycott this state and let them know what they skrewed up!!!!

I don't know you from jack, but i agree wholeheartedly. Hunt in Texas, Montana, or anywhere but Colorado.

Maybe if we all stopped Hunting, Trapping and Fishing across the country for 2 or 3 years the government would collapse and we could good back to living like the good old days and go hunting, trapping and fishing when ever we felt like it.

I kinda like this approach. On the other hand, if the states somehow survived without the money...we'd be behind the 8 ball for sure. I AM certain of this - if we absolutely stopped handing our money to folks that are anti-gun supporters they wouldn't be so public about it. We need to get together and make it happen. Would be extremely difficult but we can do it.

I think it would be a mistake to take that approach. Who would it hurt? I have found some good people while hunting or working in Colorado. Would you believe that there are some people who claim not to like Texans? Come to think of it, I don't like all Texans myself.

There is a cross section of people in every state. I would suggest that we go hunting there if we like and charm the people we meet. Show them how nice we are. There are people living there who have nothing to do with this. There are people there who depend on hunters.

I'm a firm believer in voting with my money, I try to make sure that I'm not spending money with people that oppose my core beliefs.I would hate to think that they were using my money against me, the government does this all the time with the money that they take from me!

Those guides and outfitters arent to blame. The people taking money for the high priced outa state tags are. You gotta eat, buy gas, stay in motel rooms all that is taxable. That tax money goes to the state and Im getting to the point that Im not nice to people who want to tear down the constitution. No more Mr. Niceguy.

Now understand this

The people who you guys are griping about are the liberals who all live in Denver. If you removed the Denver vote from Colorado you would have a nice conservative red state.

By the way, there are more deer in Tom Green County, Texas than there are in the whole state of Colorado.

Now do you understand?

Its amazing how much money is envolved in taxes tags etc.
The moneys supposed to go for conservation ' YEAH Right""""
I wonder just where it goes here in New York State. ? many millions? anyone know?

Somebody elected those liberals.

Somebody elected those liberals.

If I wasn't clear, the point I was trying to make is that the liberals in Denver elected those liberal politicians in their state. The rest of the state is not very liberal.:)

Thats what happens when citys get so big that they can dictate the future of the state and its laws.
We have that same problem here. The apple dictates. The govenour sides with the apple.
same problems here. We are suppose to be a liberal state but its not really true.
It would be true that new york city is a liberal city.
a good part of our state is really very conserative.

Agreed…
Republican: 1,008,341 (2007)
Democrat: 875,650 (2007)

With 1.7 million votes cast (2012 election), Republicans continue to lead in Colorado's early voting - The Denver Post

Republican voters (2012 election) continued to outpace the competition at the ballot box in Colorado, maintaining their 2 percentage-point lead over Democrats in figures released Tuesday evening. - The Washington Times

If the voters "outside" Denver vote as Conservative/Republican… and outnumber Democrat voters, how come Colorado is "blue" ?

I know exactly where the liberal stuff is coming from, cities not ranchers and guides but the Colo. govt is still getting our tax money if you go hunting out there. Ill get off here. Ive already been yelled at once today. Doug

That probably was just enough No shows at the poling places and the swing voters.
Then of couse the electorial college "' Thats what happens. electorial college votes , Just enough to sway an election.

Denver

They tried passing a law some years back that wood have made it a crime for hunters to drive through Denver with there guns in there trucks. It didn't stand up in court.

our club was considering no haveing Hunter safety courses again
We had to reconsider and allow them. Most of the people in our club are really upset with the Safe act
We thought by not haveing classes it would hurt the state lisencing program for hunting.
After a lot of consideration it was decided to have the clases . mainly for the Kids who want to hunt.
Still it was good idea anyway. Catch 22' do we service the new generation of hunters , sportmen or take the revenge we really want?.
Soo we will still fight that lousy Law , and if we fail at repeal we sure are going to work extra hard to replace those lousy politicians at Election Time,
