Austrailian Iceberg

What's the haps with the drifting iceberg, free real estate without the asking. When do you expect land contact if any. The beach water could get a little nippy for awhile. Maybe a skating rink for ya or a new Polar bear hangout.

Polar bear from, antarctica? This is something new I have not heard about.

There are just so many lies being told about this global warming crap, it's hard to keep up. I just did not know about Polar bears being associated with antarctica? Did these bear take a vacation south?

It's another clear example of global warming. Antarctica is breaking up. When it melts we'll all be flooded. We need billions in appropriations to study this impending crisis.

I guess these folks figure if there is no chicken little message, that no one will pay attention.

Global warming

We here in Iceland have high hopes for global warming

The Greenlanders would probably enjoy it too! Might make the climate like it was when the Vikings settled there. Doesn't look like the chances are too good though judging from what's happening in Britain and Scandinavia, not to mention the Northern US. :D

Grab Your Nuts

When I write a Thread I don't expect the the Gay Glee Club of BR Central to chime in. If I heard wrong I heard wrong. I want to wait and hear more on this. Need some Aussies and New Zealanders to come in on this. You dudes are a bunch of Pilgrim K-Mart shoppers. Ho Ho Ho.

Iceberg?

:eek:what iceberg? We are having a wierd season its even been raining

Thanks Ted

Maybe those were 12' tall Penquins they got down there. Millions of them don't get in their way when they head for the water.

there is a good reason for that

I am not from Australia or New Zeland, however I do have the ability to use Google.

Perhaps Steven was speaking of this.
Also I didn't read where he stated that Polar Bears were coming from Ant-Artica.

There ain't any polar bears in Antartica :). They is all way north of there.

Iceberg? It's 40 deg C here today (about 103F, I think).

In between the drop bears, bunyips and kangaroos invading the streets we don't have time or room for icebergs.

Polar Bears? Thought those white things were called Pom’s…..

It’s not unusual to see the odd iceberg float north, but not that often they come close enough to land to see them.

As for globle warming, blame that big red thing in the sky as it has more control over what happens here than any other thing. think where you’re hard earned $ are going, nowhere that’ll do a lot of good for most of us…..
