ARC 100 yd Match for Score
19 Shooters - 13 VFS, 2 Hunter, 4 Factory
Weather cleared up after a few days of freezes. North wind blew the early cloud cover out and temps in the 50's faded quickly yielding acceptable conditions for shooting. The Factory/Modified class was won by Jon Aronson with a good 248-10X out of his 6.5 CM. 2nd place was Paul Shanklin at 241-9x shooting a 6BR and 3rd goes to Ernest Mims with a 228-3x(6.5 CM).
Tommy Maedgen and I tangled as the only 2 Hunter guns....nothing to write home about.
Had 7 clean VFS rifles out of 13. Numerous ties for Best Target Kitty on a few matches but once again, Larry Kochanowicz takes 1st place with a 250-19X. Second VFS was Big Steve Brown with a 250-18X. Tied for 3rd place was Charles Moore and Craig Lehmann shooting 250-17X. Charles wins the lengthy tiebreaker so Craig gets 4th place. Good shooting by all.
Our next club match is last Sunday in March, the 30th, starts at noon.
