Well there was a threat of rain...but it didn't. It was a trigger pulling afternoon with a SLIGHT tail wind. Rock steady Steve came in with his usual 250 and Virgil anticipating a long awaiting 250 messed up his last shot with a nine 1/16 of an inch from the 10 ring.
There were no Hunter entries. I'm kinda sad to say that this was my last match as match director. After 20 plus years, I hope someone else will pick up the duty and carry on. This does not mean I will give up Benchrest. I will be shooting at the Hill Country matches at the Dietz range and who knows, I might even attend one of Jackie's matches. It's been fun and I hope someone will pick up the gavel.
