6x47 reamer info needed

I'm in the process of getting ready to order a 6x47 Lapua reamer. I need some opinions on what depth the 105 Berger VLD should be seated in the case neck. Should the boattail /body junction of the bullet be seated at the neck/shoulder junction of the case or maybe futher in or out? I need to figure out the freebore for the reamer. I already have a 6mm throater, so what is the best way to go? Thanks

I Had Mine Ground So That The 105 Berger Bt/bj Is Slightly Ahead Of The Nsj So That I Would Not Have To Deal With Donuts If They Form. It Has Worked Very Well For Me So Far Out To 450 Yards. Have Not Had A Chance Yet To Shoot It Further. I sent a loaded dummy round in to have the reamer ground to fit it.

I am a believer in always chambering to place the longest bullet you are going to shoot ahead of the neck/shoulder juncture. I allow about .020. Of course, it is only the bearing portion of the bullet that matters. The boattail can sit wherever. Regards, Bill
