First time poster and hoping I picked the perfect place to ask for input/advice on a new project.
Looking at having a bolt gun rebarreled to 6-223, be a 22"+ barrel intended for coyote hunting.
I like the idea of running a 55 grain faster than the 223 and possibly the 60-65 grain as fast for coyotes. Nosler lists the 6mm 55 BT as a higher B.C than the .224 55 grain.
In my searching on the net I am not finding much in the way of loads for such weights and when I do they are in a short barreled auto. Also older posts are talking of heavily compressed loads just to get pressure/velocity up with the larger bore.
Anybody using one of these in a bolt gun with said bullets weights??
