6ppc brass

Has anyone tried the 6ppc brass from Silver State Armory? I see it is listed in Midway's January flyer for $48 and was wondering if it is any good? Thanks. Al.
 
Alan, when I first started shooting I tried some of that brass (silver states armory) it is not worth the $50.00!!! Stay with Lapua brass, you will have less headaches in the end! I never could get it to shoot worth a darn.

There are several merchants that are selling Lapua 220 brass
for $55 per 100. Thats only $7 more for the best brass on the
planet.

TEAMKIESS..would appreciate it if you would expand on SS 6mmppc brass..i'am the proud owner of 100 new cases..if i neck size, trim & fire form ... how bad can it be ? I shoot a ruger #1 in 6ppc...Thanks

The brass needs of a Ruger No.1 versus a custom bench rest rifle, even when both are in 6PPC, are quite different.

What is basically junk in a benchrest rifle may very well serve perfectly well in a rifle that isn't run at such high pressures or expected to shoot sub 0.20 groups.
