2 reviews of the new Vortex PST.

OK, I'll post a review too, these scopes are cheapo garbage. As are the "reviews" posted. These aren't "reviews..... the posters who wrote this drek have never owned a real scope. They've never heard of "chromatic accuracy" or "coherency" nor "spherical aberration" nor "resolution" etc etc... Dude over on whateverforum compared to IOR scopes and another notes that "the crosshairs are dead nuts straight." Big news is when the clicks work.

what pap.

YES I've checked them out, just last week at the Sportsman's Show.

PuhhLEEEZE if you're going to keep hardselling this junk here provide a REVIEW, send one over to Fred Bohl or even to a marginally unbiased glossy mag. Putting Vortex into the same sentence with Leupold or NF gives it an aura of credibility it does not deserve. The Vortex stuff is heavy, clunky and comparable to stuff like Springfield Armory, BSA or NCStar, these do not even compare to Tasco or Bushnell IMO. (which are JUNK...)

There, now you have another "review."

For what it's worth

Thanks for the reply al. Never thought you would have the time to give an opinion on anything.

Pretty sad, after reading through 47 posts of drivel, I have learned the following: #1/ one new owner guesses ( didn't have a NF handy to compare) that it's close enough to a NF to make people think really hard given the price difference. #2/ an IOR was judged superior by one tester. # 3/ if one does in fact buy the new Vortex, the following items come in the box with the scope: sunshade, battery, shims, allen wrench, cloth, and (are you listening NF and Leupold?) a Vortex lapel pin.
