Please, someone of you could know Mr. Greg Siegmund who used to make perfect 147gr bullets for 6,5. i still have some, today I was shooting Berger VLD 140gr a those 147gr I have still left at 1KM and I was doing better with 147gr...,and I also notised quite a bit higher BC of those bullets, based on number of clicks I had to do and velocity...

I live in Czech Republic but I would be very grateful to someone who could give me perhaps Mr. G. Siegmund´s mobile number..I still have his fix line number, but there is no answer unfortunately.

Thanks for any help.
Petr

If you are looking for the BC, I believe that Henry Childs (dang good source) tested the 147 CR at .625 using the G1 criteria.

Good luck,

I SEE NO REASON,WHY HE DOES NOT MAKE THEM. THEY HAVE HIGHEST BC OF ALL 6,5MM BULLETS. THIS BC is real....not a paper marketing....even Berger VLD 140grain seems to me has lower BC than published....And their puplished BC is 0,612 which is alredy less than BC of Gregś bullet. Greg´s bullets are even not VLD,that means, they are easier to get very good groups compare to VLD bullets... and they were used in past to set the worl record...,also they were made from the same jackets as Bergerś VLD Hunting bullets,so they can be used for hunting as well as for the target...this was the top bullet. Would anybody sell me some left,or would anybody give me mobile number for Mr.Greg Seigmund? Sorry about my english,I live in Czech Republic. Thanks in advance for any help...

Have you tried "Googling" his name to see what comes up? If he has a web site, that will find him.

Petr, this is unrelated to your topic, but I am curious to know how restrictive the Gun Laws are in the Czech Republic. As you might know, here in the USA, (especially Texas), we can pretty much do anything we wish. I am just as apt to have Rifle in my car at all times as not.

I know many Countrys have laws that compared to ours, are extremely restrictive, making it difficult for the Benchrest Shooter, or any others, to pusure their love of shooting.

I apologize for the interuption, but I do not get to talk to a shooter from Eastern Europe that often........jackie

Petr,

I know Greg, but have not seen him at a match in several years. I'm not sure he eve makes bullets for sale anymore.

If he is still shooting, the two sports he'd be most apt to participate in are 600 yard Benchrest, and he's always been a highpower/Palma shooter. But I see that Oak Ridge Tennessee is not scheduled to have 600 yard matches this year, so getting up with Greg on a benchrest forum might not work.

What I will do is to make a post on this forum -- the 600/1000 yard forum -- using Greg's name in the title, as well as the 600 yard match he'd be apt to attend. It'll be your job to follow up with whoever answers.
