    Weighing brass

I currently shoot a 6-250 IMP 30 degree, 6BR, Win 284 and a 308 at LR in Fclass. I have a little case in 22 cal for coyotes that is a real pain to make cases for. I have shoot a ton of HBR with 308s and 30*47 and LV/HV with 6PPCs and 6BRs. For my LR FO Win 284, I use WINCHESTER brass. Too cheap...

    Rem 700 age??????

Need a better pic of the left side of the barrel for a proper date coding... On the barrel is a inspector's stamp (funny looking symbol), then a two character date code (i.e., RQ which would egual 11/78) and then a assembler's code (i.e., 12) The first char in the date code is the month B L...

    Barrel Erosion

It all happens in a milliseconds and you know this thru physics and fluid tests, right, so, only if you say so LOL

    Barrel Erosion

Yet another erosion variable, the design of base of the bullet. I "think" BT, VLD's and rebated bullets erode more than flat base bullets since the gas is directed into the rifling, JMO.

When to set back a 6x47 lapua?

I would say since you only have 700 rounds down her, your should still be good, this is based on my past history using a case very similar (holds 49.7g of H2O). I don't shoot a 6x47 but I do have a 6mm-250 30 degree improved and have had a few barrels on it now. Side by side to a 6XC case, mine...

Necking up to a 30BR. Run out!!

Have you tried the cream-of-wheat method yet? Using a small charge of pistol powder, around 13.5g of W231, in a 6br case with a wee bit of klennex to hold the powder in the case and fired in a 30BR chamber. OK, I don't use COW, I use klennex :)

    Blowing primers problem...

Do you clean with a vibrator or tumbler? Could it be one or two cases have some corn cob left in them?!! This would increase your pressures. The 108 I would guess also has a longer bearing surface and the pressure you are hitting with that combo is higher, but a 4.69 3 match agg, I would not be...

Tested my net custom turret from Vortex.

Hate to break anyone's bubble, but you will find that your "exact zeroes" at a yardage changes from day to day, depending on temp, humidity, wind direction and sunlight vs clouds, even on the same range on the same day! Usually only 1/2 to 1 moa, but that is enough to cause a dropped point...

I called Bill Small tonight and he was not home but Keri his lovely wife told me she always listens with one ear to that is going on and it soulnded to her that Greg Sweezey (possible spelling error here, I'm Canadian LOL) won the 100+200 agg and Elzie Scott was 2nd and Elzie's son was 3rd. What degree picatinny a 20 or 10 degree?

Flouncer, the easy way, set the rifle up at the range on a good solid rest and aim at a target, then click it all the way down to the bottom (make sure the hairs move as you click it by watching in the scope) and then click it up and make sure the hairs move as you do it, If you click and the...

What degree picatinny a 20 or 10 degree?

GT40.... Funny thing is I did the same math the other night for a 6BR for 300M to 600 yds ONLY. What I'm thinking is to get the scope into it's optical center I'm thinking of just mounting it without any rail on it and using the Burris rings and a -10 MOA shim and then just dialing up 20 MOA on...
